The Constitution Park Auditorium will be host to seven concerts this summer. Every Saturday throughout July and August fresh acts will take to the stage to perform. The series of gigs is presented Marbella Council and the first act will be Africa G Project on the 18th of July. The tatted musician blends flamenco, soul, electronic, funk and hip-hop into a Spanish cocktail of energy and rhythm.
The second gig kicks off on July 25th. Flamenco artists welcomes Marcos Grimaldi & E-Gipsy aim to sooth the ears of the audience. The next week homegrown performer, the Marbella Pilar Esteban “LaPili” will sing on August 1st. Furthermore, she will be collaborating with guitarist Tomás García.
After the vibrancy and romanticism comes the Blues. Eneko Alberi and the No Solo Blue Band take to the stage on August 8th. The following Saturday will bring some soul with vocalist La Negra Mayté. Her and her band have proven to be local favourites. Naturally, the series must go out with a bang followed by a whimper. August 23rd will see the hard rock band, The Delola, raise hell only to be given peace of mind as flamenco cellist Tin Fernández and his quintet play the final show on August 30th.
