Lowest COVID Cases Recorded Since January 2nd

650 new cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Andalucia today, February 22nd. This is the lowest daily figure since January 2nd with 407. 

There have also been eleven deaths in the last 24 hours, which is the lowest figure since January 11th when nine were recorded. 

The cumulative incidence rate has dropped to 279.4 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days. This is 61.8 fewer than the 341.2 recorded on Friday. The last time that the 300 since January 11th that the number has fallen below 300. 

Almeria has the largest number of new cases of COVID-19 with 170. Seville has 118, Malaga has 108 and Cadiz has 107. Cordoba has 64 cases, Jaen has 41, Granada has 39 and Huelva has three. 

There are currently 2,338 patients in the hospital as a result of the coronavirus. This is an increase of five on Sunday. 564 of these people are in intensive care.
