Almost 75% do not believe the figures provided by the Spanish government in relation to Coronavirus cases according to a new study by El Mundo. Many argue that the figures do not add up and there is a further 13,000 deaths unaccounted for. The explanations delivered by Health Minister Salvador Illa and Director of Health Emergencies Fernando Simon are not accepted by nearly three quarters of the country.

Most of the public opinion leans towards figures divulged by Instituto Nacional de Estadistica. Furthermore, Sanchez’s government does not have an approval rating when it comes to how the pandemic was handled with 46% of Spaniards contending that COVID-19 wasn’t tackled correctly.
