The sports department of Rincon de la Victoria town hall has bought four defibrillators. They have been installed at Rincon de la Victoria football pitches and in the Municipal Sports Centre in Calle Malvaloca and in La Cala del Moral and Benagalbon.
These are semi-automatic devices for cardiorespiratory arrest emergencies which are connected to training and telecare services. The new units will expand the network of equipment situated in sports facilities such as the Manuel Becerra rugby field, the Ruben Ruzafa Municipal Covered Pavilion as well as in Civil Protection vehicles and Local Police.
Francisco Salado, the Mayor of Rincon de la Victoria said that these assistance teams are needed so people can act fast in the case of a cardiac emergency. The goal is to be able to act fast and ensure maximum safety for the public if a cardiac accident occurs outside of the health sector.
The four units have been budgeted at 16,940 euros and the contract has been awarded to Almas Industries Bsafe S.L.U. Since last year, Ricon de la Victoria has introduced four defibrillators.
